Shireen has been a teacher since the age of 15. She loves to share her knowledge with others. Professionally, she’s an instructional designer (someone who creates and delivers training, both, online and in-person). She has been teaching English for over 10 years, and recently has restarted teaching (and learning) Urdu.
Without the consistent reliance on Anjum’s knowledge of Urdu, this project just wouldn’t have been possible. Anjum is always making time to answer the gazillion questions thrown at her by Shireen. The two met at the StarTalk Urdu/Hindi Teacher Training Program held in 2010 at UPenn.
Mansoor is the primary editor of videos and audio files that Urdu Seekhiye (US) produces. Also, if Shireen has any questions about Urdu (spellings, translations, synonyms, etc.) Mansoor, again, is her go-to. If you need an editor or an Urdu expert, do reach out – currently he has some free time available in-between being a university student and a video editor for various content producers.
